Bacon-Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 10 Red or Yellow Potatoes (peeled and washed)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 6 Slices Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 tbsp Bacon Grease (reserved)
  • 4-6 Green Onions (finely chopped)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)
  • 4 cup Chicken Broth
Instructions
  1. Boil potatoes in chicken broth. Drain.

  2. Heat 1 cup of milk with 1/4 cup butter.

  3. Mash the potatoes with the hot milk, cheddar cheese, bacon grease, and salt & pepper. 

  4. Gently fold in crumbled bacon and green onions. 

  5. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
