This meatloaf came about by mistake! I was an amateur cook, still learning the ropes and I made some huge mistakes with the original recipe, but to my surprise everyone just loved it! Over the years I have tweaked this recipe and it is one that my dad and husband request often! I hope you enjoy this mistake of a meatloaf as much as we do!
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Set 3 tbsp Heinz Chili Sauce to the side. Mix remaining ingredients together for the meatloaf until well combined.
Spray an 8x4 inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Press the meat mixture into the pan. Spread the remaining 3 tbsp of Heinz Chili Sauce on top of the meatloaf.
Bake in the oven for 55 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing into the meatloaf to serve.
If you wish to serve with the optional sauce topping, on the last 5 minutes of baking time, cook with tomato soup and chili sauce in a sauce pan over medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Slice the meatloaf and serve with sauce.
